Over $6,000 in Scholarships and Prizes awarded!

FAN concluded the 2016/17 season with the Chase for the Champions Tournament and FANally Open Tournament on Lake Belton with over $6,000.00 in scholarships and prizes.  The evening concluded with an awards banquet and BBQ meal provided by Schoepfs BBQ from Betlon, TX.
We are truly grateful and blessed to have the best student anglers, captains, parents, volunteers and supporters in the country.. It’s an honor to serve you.

And also a big THANK YOU to our very own Abbi Gass  with the Lake Travis Fishing Team for performing for us again this year. How lucky are we to have this wonderful young lady part of the FAN Family…. oh yeah she can fish as good as she sings too.  She finished 5th on the AOY Chase

Congratulations to Ethan Bratton and Jacob Lambert from The Round Rock Fishing Team for winning the Berkley Select Anglers of the Year.
Stepping it up this year, after a tough second place finish last year, and taking home the Chase for the Champions victory were Clayton Harbison and Gavin Standard from Texas Bass Academy, including the Kistler Big Bass Award and the first place $3,000 Scholarship with an impressive 15.46 Pounds.

Congratulations to Tristan Laberge and Keaton Lopez from Texas Bass Academy for winning the FANally Open on Lake Belton April 22nd with 3 fish weighing 4.94 pounds on a tough and windy day.
